Ein ehemaliges Pfarrhaus aus dem Jahre 1750 in Ripsdorf in der Eifel dient inzwischen als komfortables Wochenendhaus. Unter Würdigung des denkmalgeschützten Bestandes waren dabei umfassende energetische wie historische Sanierungen nötig, um die Ursprünglichkeit des alten Gemäuers zu bewahren, aber gleichermaßen die Anforderungen der Bauherrn zu erfüllen: Das Ergebnis sind charakterstarke Räume mit behutsam restaurierten Stuckdecken und einem wärmegedämmten Boden aus fein poliertem Sichtestrich. Mithilfe großzügiger Durchbrüche wurde aus zwei kleinen Zimmern ein weitläufiger, lichtdurchfluteter Wohnbereich – ein Eindruck, der durch den Einbau bodentiefer Fenster zum Garten noch verstärkt wird.
