Grundriss der Büroetage mit über 2.700 m² Nutzfläche für 150 Arbeitsplätze.

In nur viereinhalb Monaten Bauzeit wurde in Düsseldorf eine monotone Büroetage aus den 1990er-Jahren für einen internationalen Lebensmittelkonzern in ein zeitgemäßes Arbeitsumfeld verwandelt. Michels Architekturbüro brachte dabei die Vorgaben des innenarchitektonischen Entwurfs von Fokkema & Partners Architecten mit den baulichen Gegebenheiten in Einklang, realisierte die Ausführungsplanung und koordinierte sämtliche Bauabläufe vor Ort. In enger Abstimmung mit den künftigen Nutzern entstanden vielseitige und ansprechende Büroräume, die mit dem Image des Unternehmens korrespondieren.

Die weitläufige, offene Etage wurde durch Glassystemtrennwände mit unterschiedlichen Schallschutzleveln zoniert, sodass ruhige Rückzugsorte mit lebhaften Kommunikationsbereichen wechseln. Dies ermöglicht ein ungestörtes Arbeiten bei guten Sichtbeziehungen. Verschiedene Materialien, Texturen und Oberflächen charakterisieren die einzelnen Zonen und optimieren die Akustik. Durch Bambusverkleidungen und Polstermöbel entsteht eine angenehme Atmosphäre, die beste Voraussetzungen für Vernetzung und neue Arbeitsmodelle bietet. Eine voll ausgestattete, offene Küche lädt zu gemeinsamen Pausen ein und fördert informelles Teambuilding.
